So, first you need to know WHY I chose this as my project...... My son Austin, 6, is always leaving me "mail" in my pocketbook. Fills out the envelop "his way" and everything. Then he tells me, "Mom, it looks like there is something sticking out of your pocketbook. You better check it out." They are always little notes thanking me for making him lunch, or doing something or just notes to say I love you.
So, with Austin in mind, I decided to make us some mail boxes!! This file by My Scrap Chick also comes with little postage stamp cards, which I made 3 of to have on hand to "mail" back to him!
He got SO excited when he saw these..... and the mail started right away!!! lol He put his card from me in his scrapping box because he wants to keep it forever! How sweet is he!?!?!?
Now, you all want a chance at some candy?? Of course you do!!
I have a 4 piece set of some beach bears, from the "Beach Bears 1" file from My Scrap Chick.
All you have to do is become a follower of my blog & come on over and LIKE my fan page CBC Scrapbooking. Be sure to leave a comment letting me know you hopped by! I will announce a winner on Sunday on my fan page!!
I'll be having a give away on my fan page once I hit 750 fans, so spread the word!!
Thanks for hopping with us today!! Now head on over to Kim's Card Corner to see what she has made for you today!
Don't forget to stop back by tomorrow for Day 2 of the Hop.
Happy Scrappin'
~Colleen~
