For Stealing Hearts!

Happy Thursday!!  Colleen here sharing another Lo with you!

My 7 year old is always making "heart hands" when I take his pic.  Anyone who knows him, knows he is a real charmer, and he will definitely be the one to steal some hearts!

So, I made this LO, using "Wanted For Stealing Hearts" to put some pics of him and his heart hands.

Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

Happy Hump Day!!!!

This week's challenge with Creative Cricut Designs

was a sketch challenge!

I found this sketch on pinterest, and you can find in here: http://52sketches52weeks.com/?p=342, along with a ton of other sketches too!

I usually have issues with sketches, but I am getting a little better with the LO sketches.  The trouble I had with this one was getting my pics small enough. I have a tendency to ZOOM when I take pics, so not much room for cropping! I need to work on that! LOL

I also decided to make mine into a 2 pager.  

For the 2nd page, I just flipped the sketch.

These are pics of my snuggle muffin having his first cereal, around 4 months old! (He's almost 7 now, but still my snuggle muffin!)

The blue strips will be used for journaling once I look up the date and figure out what to say :)

Jennifer went with a Halloween theme, and I love all the papers she used!!!

Weekly Wednesday Challenges are BACK!!!!

Happy Hump Day!!!!

After a much too long break (my fault, stupid surgery and all lol), Creative Cricut Designs & CBC Scrapbooking are BACK with our Weekly Wednesday Challenge!!

For today's theme, Jennifer chose "Fall", plain and simple.

I have a cute picture of my daughter Maddie from last Fall at the pumpkin patch. I decided to scrap a page for that pic. Of course, my printer was out of Cyan ink, so I will share the pic with you, as it is not on my LO!

It was taken on a phone, so not the best quality, but I love how happy she looks!

For my LO, I used a couple pieces from Scrapping Bug Designs.

The bears and title are from "Pick of the Patch". I did have to rearrange the title a bit to fit my LO.

I finally just bought a rotary paper trimmer the other day. (I have wanted one forever!) And bought the scallop interchangable blade as well. I am in love!! I did the scallop edges on the green strip in under a minute!

For my project, I made a 2 page LO featuring 2 of my lil' punkins (back in the day, so far back, these were the only 2 punkins I had! lol)

I used 2 files from Treasure Box Designs, the new & the old Pumpkin Village files! The boys in the pumpkins and the smaller pumpkins are all from "Halloween Village, Country Punkin Inn", which is now retired and the fence and title are from the new "Pumpkin Patch Village" file.

The pics are from a few years back, LOL, and I still have to do my journaling, but by golly, I will get all these albums done!! One day........ lol

It's time for another Weekly Wednesday Challenge, brought to you by yours truly and Creative Cricut Designs!!!
This week was my turn to choose, and I chose "Summer Fun", could be ANYTHING that we think is FUN during the Summer!!! So, the possibilities really are endless!!! Well, we both ended up doing LO's about S'MORES!!! No, we did NOT plan it!!! lol This just proves the theory that GREAT minds really do think alike!!! :)

I did a double page LO of my Austin playing around with a soccer ball in the backyard back in '08! (YES, I know, I am a tad behind!! LOL)

Ticket 2 Ride

Happy Friday all!!!!

Hope you all had a fun but safe 4th of July! Me and the kiddos went to a super fun cookout yesterday and had a mini one ourselves today, complete with water balloons and frozen margaritas!! (Non-alcoholic, of course!)

It is so hot here that we came in to escape the heat for a bit and take a break. Some read, one napped and some watched TV. I scrapped! I wanted to finish my latest GDT project for Scrappy Dew!

Here is a 2 page LO using Scrappy Dew's "Carnival Theme Park-2012".
These pics are of my oldest, now 10 1/2, back when he was about 4 1/2. 
Hey, at least I'm making a dent! LOL!

These will be the first 2 of 4 I think.I still have a lot of pics, and a lot more of this file to play with, it's HUGE!!! Love it!!!

My pic is a bit crooked because the cement was so hot I was hopping from foot to foot because it was burning my feet! OUCHIES!
