My first Project Life layout!

Project Life

Hey all!

So, back in 2013, I bought a whole bunch of stuff to do Project Life in 2014.  After a few weeks of trying to remember to take pics everyday, and sometimes being successful with that, I sat down to whip out some layouts.  Ya, that didn't happen.  In fact, I struggled so much trying to make one , that I put it all away and never even looked at it again.

Until recently.

A few of my crafty friends started a FB page, Bimini Moose, which is all about PL and pocket scrapbooking.

Well they totally inspired me to get my stuff out and give it a go, again.

After a couple days of headaches, I managed to put this together.

I used a few favorite patterns from Little Scraps of Heavens Designs to accent my layout and for my title.

I am not completely happy with it, but happy I did it!

Seeing how this is week one from 2014, I have a lot to catch up on! lol

Hopefully it gets easier, and I get better at it, as I keep going!

My Little Funny Face LO

Scrappy Thursday!

 Today I would like to share with you a LO I have made using a few different files.

These are pics of my oldest, now 11, back when he was 4! (Just a little behind! lol)

This child always loved, and still does, making silly faces in the camera! These are some of my most favorite pics of him!

I used the "Funny Face Title", "Funny Face Boy", "Journal Tags" and a "Corner Arrow" designed by Tricia Moore.

Weekly Wednesday Challenge!!!

Happy Hump Day!!!!

We are back with another challenge!! It was my pick this week, but I kinda forgot to pick something til last minute, so it turned into an "Anything Goes as Long as it is a LO" Challenge! LOL

I had some major scrap-block when I sat down to do my LO. I couldn't decide on anything. I started milk and cookies LO, didn't like it. Then I started a Princess LO, couldn't get into it. After a couple hours (literally) I decided I would take the FIRST paper stack off the top of my pile and make something with that, no matter what! Well, it happen to be an "All Season's" pack by Recollections. So I flipped thru it, and liked the Fall colors. Within 2 minutes, I knew what I was doing, what pic I was going to use and had it all laid out, minus the piecings!  Now, I am still missing the pic, so bare with me. LOL

Pretty fitting, right?? LOL I used the "A Bunch of Turkeys" file from Treasure Box Designs.

I am pretty impressed with how it came out, especially considering the issues I had before hand! :)

Jennifer decided to start her Project Life adventure, and I am pretty impressed with her first "LO"!! PL seems way too overwhelming to me, so I have yet to start it, but her pages make me want to do it real bad!!!

Weekly Wednesday Challenge!!!!

Happy Hump day, all!!!

It's time for another Weekly Wednesday Challenge, brought to you by yours truly and Creative Cricut Designs!!!
This week was my turn to choose, and I chose "Summer Fun", could be ANYTHING that we think is FUN during the Summer!!! So, the possibilities really are endless!!! Well, we both ended up doing LO's about S'MORES!!! No, we did NOT plan it!!! lol This just proves the theory that GREAT minds really do think alike!!! :)

These pages are for Jessie's book. I will probably journal tid bits on the marshmallows :)

It's the Wednesday Weekly!

Hey all!!!
We are back again with our Wednesday Weekly Challenge!!! Brought to you by Creative Cricut Designs & CBC Scrapbooking!
This week, Jennifer chose a border challenge, any theme goes!

I am border challenged, so this was an actual "challenge" for me! Way to go, Jennifer! lol

I went went a school theme, Kindergarten to be specific. I used 2 files from Scrapping Bug Designs, "ABC-123" and "Kindergarten title".

Here are the borders:

Then I went and put them right onto a LO. I could not for the life of me find the pics I wanted for page 2, so they are blank for now.

The "Top 10" list was printed out, then I fussy cut around it and stamped "Top 10" and all the numbers. (Proud moment for me! haha)

And then she put hers right onto a cute layout as well:

Here is my next DT project for Digital Delights!!!

I used the Giraffe from the Jubbly Animals file.

I have a picture of my 2 oldest boys when they were 4 years & 4 months planned for this page. This LO will go in MY album. :)

The alpha stickers are old Creative Memories stickers that I have had for a million-gazillion years!! I WILL use everything I have, eventually! haha
